Eyeglasses, in modern society, are no longer tools for eyesight correction, but constitute the major part of fashion accessories. Fashion glasses are just like your fashion clothes and you want to make sure you are stylish everyday. So it is important to know new fashion trend of glasses because you will probably not change your eyeglasses as much as you change your clothes.

One kind of glasses which are fashionable should be rimless mens eyeglasses which are classic that people can not see you wearing at all. They are the favorite of those who hate to wear glasses while they have to for some reasons. Moreover, rimless glasses provide a minimalistic look and are lightweight. Frameless as they are, composing of hinges, nose pads, the bridges and arms, rimless eyeglasses can also be designed to be as varied as traditional framed glasses.

Do you still remember glasses with the thick, boxy plastic frames in 70s? Today they come back, and have gained much popularity. You may see many people, whether on street, or in TV, who are wearing the most fashionable clothes while wearing a pair of the most “outdated” glasses. At a blush, the thick, dark frames are definitely in, creating a short of “geek chic” look. What’s more, colored frame of the same designs is another style, which goes over big among youth.

And then come to the all-time-classic style, the thin, metal rim glasses which are called the all-rounder glasses. Whether your facial form is circular, oval, or even square, this thin, metal rim glasses are always there as your choice. Do not feel tired of this style, they will be fashionable for many years, helping draw attention to your eyes, not your glasses. And they will match any outfit you may be wearing.

Plastic glasses are always popular, especially for women. The newly popularized plastic eyeglasses are those whose sides are make a little bit details, for example, inlaid diamonds or designing the logo.

If you want to know more details about the current fashion trend of eyeglasses you can go to www.Firmoo.com to check more. There are also various kinds of glasses displayed. One thing I want to mention is that, if you are going to buy a pair of glasses on-line, visit a store at first so that you can find the one that fits for you.

A few nice original style advice images I found:

New Upper Terrace (2/4) (back garden, autumn 2008)
original style advice

The upper end of our garden, with its new Upper Terrace, just completed.

Jill is sitting at our new garden table in front of the Valrosa Cabin (workshop). Compare this view with the same area five months earlier. All the visible construction, including the cabin, was done for us by Acer Landscapes. The overall scheme was our own with advice from Acer. The areas of bare soil are new borders waiting to be planted.

For those interested in seeing the gardening details better, go to Actions (top L) > View all sizes > Original. See also notes on picture. However, notes are not retained in downloaded versions of Flickr images.

NOTE ON THE GARDEN
The garden was very plain and bare when we arrived in 1985. We have been developing the design gradually since then, but not from a single pre-planned conception. Eventually we developed the overall shape, with a ‘winding river’ effect made by the lawns and path (though this is not seen in this view). The shapes of the rockeries, planting and other features are based on the way a small stream winds between ‘interlocking spurs’ in hilly terrain. We did all the planting, and I built many of the features. For further history of our garden, see set description for ‘OUR BACK GARDEN’

FEATURES
(See also notes on the picture)
- Garden Railway (G-scale) – Lower L is the branching point between the Upper Loop (nearer the camera) and the Middle Section, on the Upper (Railway) Rockery. This is a 45mm gauge G-Scale layout using Märklin-LGB track, parts and rolling stock, with my own garden-sized civil engineering.
- Path (1) – concrete block paving with treated wooden edging, recently (2007) laid by Acer Landscapes. This section (L) is the uppermost part of our main garden path and leads to steps of Valrosa Cabin in background.
- Path (2) – centre foreground, new section of path in reclaimed York stone in ‘crazy’ style. This connects the new step up to the new Upper Terrace to an older side path which comes along the fence from our Escallonia Arch (out of sight behind us). Step is made of Indian stone and London stock bricks.
- plant containers – on front of terrace, cast in concrete, with medieval-style design, a present from my father a long time ago, here planted with box trees.
- Upper Terrace – centre, concrete block paving with treated wooden edging, just completed by Acer Landscapes.
- Valrosa Cabin workshop – in background L, fully insulated, built for us the previous year by Acer Landscapes.
- Water butt – R, newly installed by Acer Landscapes, for storing rain water from roof of Valrosa Cabin, just behind.

PLANTS
(See also notes on the picture)
- Buxus sempervirens – box-trees in the two containers on the terrace, grown from small seedlings and shaped into truncated cones.
- Ficus carica ‘Brown Turkey’ – fig tree, upper R in corner of terrace. ‘Brown Turkey’ is the commonly-chosen variety recommended for the British climate for yielding fruit. Tree looks new but is actually about 20 years old and had to be cut back to enable Valrosa Cabin construction in 2007. We planted it c.1990 not long after we arrived in the house. As recommended, we confined the roots with a loose brick surround beneath soil level.
- Juniperus horizontalis – prostrate juniper, L foreground by Upper Loop of Garden Railway.
- Picea glauca var. albertiana ‘Conica’ – dwarf white spruce, just visible above the juniper, L foreground.
- Trachelospermum jasminoides ‘Variegatum’ (variegated confederate jasmine), just visible, climbing on fence, lower R.

LOCATION DETAILS

OPE Flats – Cold War Picture Style
original style advice

This is my representation of the flats on the Orchard Park Estate in Hull, England.

My other half top me that it the original picture (see my photostream) looked boring, miserable and reminded her of oppressive communism. That in mind, I tried to make the picture look like it was shot using a 50s low tech camera (like you might have found in the old cold war era perhaps….)

I ran three exposure bracketed images through qtpsgui (HDR Program for Ubuntu Linux) but it didn’t quite give me the feel I wanted. I then ended up over saturating and over sharpening the image in the GIMP graphics program.

Oh, by the way. I’m just starting to learn about photography, so any tips, feedback or advice on any of my photos are more than welcome.

If you are thinking about going to a fashion school, then California is the place for you. There are many California fashion schools to pick from. Some may be good, some may be bad, but surely you will find the best one for you. How do you choose a California fashion school? Here are some tips and standards you can use to get you started:

1) Location – some people may not care where a fashion school is as long as it is inside California. However, you should realize that California fashion schools can often be judged through their locations. Find a California fashions school which is near fashion centers. This means you need to find a California fashion school which is located where all the action is. This will help you as a student since it will give you exposure to what’s out there in the real world.

Some students would prefer a California high school that’s located in a place which would inspire them. Some choose to attend California fashion schools which are located near the sea or close to nature. From the scenery, a student can gain inspiration enough to produce a new work of couture art.

2) Affiliated or Independent – should you go with a California fashion school which is a part of a prestigious university, or should you go to one which stands on its own? There are cases when a California fashion school within a university is better since the name on your resume will help you get great jobs easier. However, there is also something to be said for an independent school which can hold its own against the big names.

One thing you should consider is the fact that in a big school, you are mostly paying for the name of the school and not for the quality of education. You are paying additional cash to have the name of the university on your resume. This would help you get a job easier.

The fashion world, however, rarely cares for the name of a university if it does not perform well. If you have the name of a great independent school on your list, you might find it easier to get a job.

3) Cost – there is also the cost to think about. California fashion schools cost money. There is no denying that fact. The question that remains is: “how much money should it cost you?”

There are, of course, schools which offer discounted tuition for various reasons. Some are suffering declines in enrollment. Some may just be starting their operation and are trying to break into the market. In opting for these schools, you could save a lot of cash. However, you should consider that you might be sacrificing quality for cost.

You could also consider going to schools which are more prestigious. These schools may ask you to pay a lot of cash in order to study there. However, you should remember that high cost doesn’t necessarily equal high quality. You need to realize that in some schools you will not be paying form an education but you will be paying for the name.

Choosing a California fashion school might seem like a hard task. However, by considering these tips and truly knowing what you want, you can make it a very easy experience for you.
